Affordbale Solar Cleaning Pros

Hello my name is Reuben Rivas and I am the proud owner of Affordable Solar Cleaning Pros. For the past 14 years I have been a public school teacher. I loved being a teacher and proud to have been a part of a nurturing and admirable profession that places a high value on education and encourages the joy of learning for all.

During the 2020 - 2021 school year, like many others, I was forced to work from home, due to Covid-19. The transition to teaching from home, for a whole year without seeing my students, was very challenging for me and my family, in many different ways.

One of the highlights of the 2020 school year is when my family and I installed an 8 kWh solar panel system. We quickly benefited from our new solar system with reduced electricity bills. However, after a few short months of fires, lack of rain, and living in a very windy area, we noticed that our brand new solar panels were getting very dirty and our solar production numbers were dropping.

I decided to do my own research on how to restore the production and efficiency of our new solar panel system. And to my shock, that's when I learned that our new and not so shiny solar panels needed to be regularly cleaned to maximize their production and efficiency. Having been a problem solver all of my life, I decided to step up to the challenge and clean the solar panels myself, but I found a lot of confusing and conflicting information online. That's when I decided to learn everything I can about residential and commercial solar systems, and in turn apply this newfound knowledge and skills into starting my own solar panel cleaning business from the ground up. I am excited to share what I have learned and the skills I have developed with fellow solar system home and business owners, so they too can maximize their investment in clean and renewable energy.
